High performance mallet for general purpose industrial use developed by Jini

Jini has successfully developed a high performance mallet for general purpose use in industrial assembly and maintenance applications.

Problem Faced:
Mallets used in industrial applications are traditionally made from Nylon/Teflon. These mallets tend to deform or chip off frequently. The makes the life of mallet very short in turn increases cost of tools for assembly and maintenance.

Solution given by Jini:
Jini gave a unique solution to the problem by designing a multi-grip handle made up of Integral Skin Foam while the work tip was made out of PU.

Benefits:
The PU work tip increased the life and made the mallet long life the multi-grip handle makes it easy to hold. The multigrip handle also ensures that the operator can exercise complete control over stroke and strike.
